time flys

Wow I can’t believe its 2010!! How exciting. What’s news…? Well so much has happened in the last few years

1. most important I married my “hubby to be”

2. I’ve been tested everyday and keep pushing forward

3. I’m still painting but part time – as I am now a full time working girl

4. I’ve been testing the water about cooking

5. I can swim!!

Don’t you feel like this year has amazing energy and hope to it? I wake up every morning and I’m so excited to get up and go, what does God have for me to do today? My mornings are much easier now, my carer helps me to get dressed, I dry my hair… and yes I put my make up on in the car- this can be very tricky especially since the new mascaras have two layers to them, and going over speed bumps…well it’s a miracle I haven’t stabbed my eye out yet.

The year is flying by and we all just get busier by the day… I found this the other day when a friend of mine felt that everything was to overwhelming for her, life is so busy- this is the psalm for busy people:

The Lord is my pacesetter I shall not rush,

He makes me stop and rest for quiet intervals

He provides me with images of stillness,

Which restores my serenity.

He leads me in the way of efficiency through

calmness of mind,

And His guidance is peace.

Even though I have a great many things to accomplish

each day

And crisis may pile upon crisis

I will not fall apart for His presence is here,

His timelessness, His all importance will keep me

in balance.

He prepares refreshment and renewal in the midst

of my activity.

He anoints my mind with His oils of inspiration.

My cup overflows.

Surely harmony and effectiveness shall be the fruit of

my hours,

For I shall walk in the peace of the Lord

And dwell in His house forever.

Amen
